You (the Healthcare Professional) are the Data Controller. CareLog provides the tools to manage your data, but we do not "own" or "access" the patient information you enter into the app.
2. Information We Collect
CareLog processes the following types of data:
- Patient Records: Names, contact details, and addresses of patients.
- Visit Logs: Dates, times, fees, and clinical notes related to your visits.
- User Account Info: If you choose to use cloud sync, we store your email address and authentication credentials.
3. Data Storage (Offline-First)
By default, all data you enter is stored locally on your device.
- If you do not enable Cloud Sync, your data never leaves your device.
- If you enable Cloud Sync, data is encrypted and transmitted to our secure servers to allow cross-device access.
4. Data Usage
We use the information solely to provide the app's functionality:
- To generate your daily schedule and earnings reports.
- To send automated reminders (if enabled).
- To synchronize data across your authorized devices.
5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. Your data is yours alone. We do not use patient data for marketing or profiling.
6. Your Rights
Since the data is stored on your device, you have full control over it. You can:
- Delete the app and its data at any time.
- Export or modify your records within the app.
- Disable cloud synchronization in the settings.
